Here are five key questions that all customers ask before they buy any product or service and you need to have the answers ready. Any dithering or delay will set off alarm bells so why not have your website content deliver the answers? That way your customers will get to know all they need to about you and your products and services while building up the trust they need to buy from you.
These 5 questions are the magic questions that everyone asks even if they don’t realise they are asking them and appear in a wide variety of variations dependant on the market you are in and the different types of potential customer that you have.
As examples, I’ll give brief answer for www.launchworkshop.com.
1.Can you solve my problem?
People have problems and they usually search for solutions to those problems rather than individual project names. If you either have the answers or can help your visitors find those answers then you have a head start.
One of the common questions I answer are…Can you get me traffic for my website? – yes I show you 10 ways to get traffic including how to get on Google page 1.
2.Will it work for me?
Once they know you have a possible solution then they want to know if it will work for them. Here they need reassurance as there may be low self esteem at work here. They don’t want hype though they want proof. Proof it works and proof it can work for them.

3.What’s in it for me?
This question is getting down to the nitty gritty and focuses on the product or service that you offer. Focus on the benefits that it will bring and not the features it has. Most people don’t care about features they want to know “what’s in it for me?”
The benefits of the LaunchWorkshop.com will be delivered in 3 e-courses and an inner circle coaching program.
These will include (in classic order of appearance).
- The Writing Workshop will launch in the next few days when all is ready with a special pilot offer. A month full of lessons for less than $10! More details will be coming soon but the course will get you writing killer headlines in seconds by day 4 and then full articles followed by all sorts of goodies including writing for the search engines and techniques the professionals use.
- A very limited version of the inner circle coaching will be available for this launch for perhaps 50 people at most. This is so I can give them the attention they deserve as I answer any questions they may have and provide important feedback on assignments. If they continue with membership they will also get their writing edited and any other help they may need. If you think you need help you need to be ready to sign up for this as those 50 slots will vanish fast.
- Next out the block will be Power Blogging. This free course has had to wait for the Writing Workshop to be launched but will appear soon.
- Then last and by no means least comes the monster – the Launch Workshop. It has to be last as at times it relies on the content in the other two and I saw no reason to duplicate the content.

If they’re happy about the product then they want to know about you. Who are you? Why should they believe you? Why should they trust you?
