Blogging seems to have been around forever and now had grown up so much that the mention of the word isn’t now followed by questions such as “what is a blog?” or the then inevitable explanation that a “blog is short of web log, and is a online diary.” Blogging has grown up. There are some very successful blogs that feed both the ego and soul of the author in distributing their thoughts and wisdom to the global village. I want to do all that and feed the bank balance. Blogger was an absolute non-starter as it has a very unpleasant habit of removing blogs. To make money you need to be able to depend on the system and that left Wordpress for one very good reason. Wordpress allows you to take control and install it on your own server. Sounds great, but this ups the techie ante as you need to understand how to install it. Luckily, Fantastico supplied a simple point and click solution and Ballistic Blogging was over its first hurdle.
